News reports of inequity, war, and hunger
Learning reality through someone else’s eyes
In our waking
We ask for the Triune God to guard and guide, protect and preserve

Meeting our neighbors and greeting them by name
Checking in and offering words of support
In our own limited capacity
We ask for the Spirit’s courage and wisdom

Commuting, punching a clock, and cleaning out our email inbox
Chores, childcare, and volunteering
In all our work
We ask for Christ’s sufficient grace made perfect in our weakness

Lesson plans, meeting agendas, and dinner.
Artwork, spreadsheets, and policy.
For all that we make
We ask for a portion of the Creator’s delight and the Father’s blessing

The blessing of Almighty God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—be with you now and always. Amen.
