Written by Jackson Nickolay from Wayfolk Arts

You who hold all people
young and old,
rich and poor,
sick and well,
joyful and weeping
within your love.

Thank you for the chance
to pause all that fills my life
to help care for another.
As I enter their life
awaken me to the work
that you are already doing
in this place and in these people,
that I may bring a small portion of
your light,
your love,
your peace
to those who need it most.

Thank you for
caring for me,
sustaining me,
and for walking with me through life’s
many twists and turns to this moment.
