lyrics
When the weight bears down on me
And it’s more than I can hold
Won’t you take it and lift it on your shoulders
You’re not a stranger to the heavy load
When sorrow overflows the banks
Of the river of my soul
Would you whisper comfort and a peaceful word
You’re not a stranger to the winds that blow
O, my Savior, You’re not a stranger to the winds that blow
O, my Savior, You’re not a stranger to the heavy load
When the darkness hides your smiling face
When temptations moves in close
Would you lead me through the valley, through the wilderness
You’re not a stranger to the desert road
